A little about Mike Meadows, AKA Medz.

Born 18 th August 1945 in Hendon NW London.So now 80 in August 2025.
Interesting early life. My brother was in a group of motor cycle riders.
I spent many hours riding pillion, or in a sidecar with my brother Kevin , he was born in 1935.
Fixing breakdowns, and electrical faults. To get him and his pals home.
I was gifted with an innate ability and curiosity of how things ,worked or could be repaired.
A lifetime interest in all things , Planes, Boats, Trucks. Trains Electrical, Electronic, Radio
Kevin worked for Les Leston a 50ś sport car racer. He funded his racing . By selling Government Surplus.
We got picked up from home in a Fiat 500 ( Topolino) Les drove like a maniac. So glad to get to.

I was " paid with " brand new ww2" radios.Much later in 1974 I obtained a Amatuer radio Licence.
Moved to Somerset in 1959. First job in 1960 aged 15 at Jim Alves Motorcycle shop in Wells.
Pay ! 2 Pounds 10 Shillings for 5 1/2 days. I rode a push bike 13 mile round trip until I could rebuild a written off 1956 BSA C12 at 16. Started trials riding on a converted road Triumph Tiger Cub. Bought 4 speed Bultaco.
Riding skill improved, and moved through novice, non expert , to expert.
Worked on and off until 1972 in mechanical work.
